At the upcoming 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Toyota will unveil five Snowhunter off-road concept vehicles, swapping standard wheels for white powder-coated tracks to tackle winter terrain. The annual trade show, which gathers thousands of industry participants, will serve as the stage for the automaker’s winter-focused showcase.
The concepts were created by CALTY Design Research in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The design studio applied a unified camouflage pattern, gloss-black accents, rigid auxiliary lighting and lift components sourced from Toyota Genuine Parts and TRD. Each model targets a distinct cold-weather use, offering a specialized approach to snow-bound driving.
The full-size Tundra Snowhunter is presented as a mobile basecamp. Its track system supports a conceptual TrailLift Pro Rack that converts the bed into a configurable platform. An articulating upper rack lowers for heavy loads, while the truck also adds TRD rear billet control arms, Predator Steps and extra lighting.
In addition, the midsize Tacoma Snowhunter keeps a smaller footprint but adds a roof rack, a full-length bed rack with MOLLE panels, an awning, cargo storage and recovery gear. Additional bed lighting complements the tracked setup, providing illumination for night-time operations.
For the 4Runner Snowhunter, the company pairs the tracks with rock rails, a Prinsu roof rack equipped with accessory panels and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box. This combination aims to move beyond conventional snow-tire capability, delivering enhanced clearance and protection.
The legendary Land Cruiser Snowhunter receives rock rails, skid plates, a Prinsu roof rack and a Thule SnowPack ski rack. These additions enable the vehicle to climb a resort chair-lift line or ascend steep mountain paths, expanding its off-road versatility.
The largest model, the Sequoia Snowhunter, adds a TRD front skid plate, cast-aluminum running boards, a Prinsu roof rack with panels and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box. The configuration positions it for family-size winter excursions, offering ample storage and rugged protection.
