Toyota has unveiled its new Woodland concepts, giving the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sienna, bZ EV, and Crown Signia an off-road makeover. The five models were developed with a common design theme, merging family-friendly features with an extra dose of adventure.
The vehicles are finished in Horizon Blue paint, a nod to classic Toyota models from the 1960s, including the Stout, Crown, and Corona. Black accents on the hoods and roofs give the cars a distinctive two-tone appearance, reinforcing the rugged aesthetic while preserving a sleek silhouette.
The Woodland concepts share several off-road upgrades, including suspension lift kits, oversized fender flares, rugged satin-black wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, and roof racks with crossbars. These upgrades make the family haulers look ready for something more adventurous than the morning school drop-off.
The Sienna version is particularly surprising, as minivans are not typically associated with off-road driving. However, with additional ground clearance and all-terrain tires, the Sienna starts to look like a compelling adventure vehicle.
The company’s goal with these concepts is to show that even its more family-focused models can travel farther off the beaten path than expected. It emphasizes that a modest set of modifications can transform everyday transport into something more daring, encouraging owners to explore beyond routine commutes.
The Woodland concepts were built for the 2026 SEMA Show, demonstrating the automaker’s willingness to think outside the box and give its customers more options for adventure. While they may not be ready to conquer the Rubicon Trail, they certainly look prepared for journeys that go beyond a typical family outing.
